These investigations were voted by his peers as the most sensational stories of the year, earning him the Scoop of the Year trophy at the British Press Awards twice.
His unrivalled contacts in politics, Whitehall, showbusiness, sport, Scotland Yard and the security services earned him numerous other awards. These included the What the Papers Say Scoop of the Year Award, the London Press Club Scoop of the Year Award, Campaign magazine Scoop of the Year Award (twice) and his own newspaper's Scoop of the Year Award (twice).
Additionally, he has also been a runner-up in the British Press Awards Scoop of the Year and also for Reporter of the Year and Specialist Reporter of the Year.
Neville has appeared regularly on the university lecture circuit, giving talks to journalism students and has given numerous radio and TV broadcasts providing revealing insights into undercover news gathering.
