British Film Institute - Film Reviews

AN EXCITING new feature on this blog will be the inclusion of regular reviews of films being shown at the British Film Institute.
With their agreement, I’ll be a regular visitor to their South Bank HQ which is home to the finest film archive in the world.
This week we start with Jean Renoir’s anti-war masterpiece La Grande Illusion, made in 1937.
I hope my reviews will prove useful and informative and encourage you to explore this national treasure in the heart of our capital.
